The homeowner wanted a usable outdoor space in an area that required uphill access. The main requirements for this area were easy maintenance, access, and lots of functionality. Installing a rock stairway created a beautiful access to the upper level that is bordered and filled with pea gravel. Pinestraw topped the hillside to finish off the new area.
